'The Doors' Coming to Blu-ray with 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced Oliver Stone's The Doors starring Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 12. The Doors is an exclusive new Blu-ray release and will not be accompanied by a new DVD edition.

Lionsgate will present The Doors in widescreen 1.85:1 1080p video and 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

Supplemental features are scheduled to include a feature-length audio commentary with director Oliver Stone, deleted scenes and featurettes.

The Doors on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $29.99. Check back regularly for high resolution cover art and a pre-order link.
