Warner Home Video has announced the love story P.S. I Love You, starring previously tough actors Gerard Butler and Hillary Swank of Million Dollar Baby and 300 fame respectively, will be released in May on Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD.
The Blu-ray version will arrive in stores on May 6, followed three weeks later by the HD DVD version on May 27 which follows Warner's self-imposed release guidelines for HD DVD as the format's existence winds down.
Previously Twister was scheduled to be the lone final HD DVD from Warner falling on the last Tuesday before Warner's HD DVD support formally comes to an end. Now P.S. I Love You will join Twister to celebrate HD DVD's funeral as an unlikely last new title released for the format.
